another day of photos, cant wait to get to the reall ideas and bring in paint and other ideas

hopefully we can get some better lights though working with one is a little boring

Day 26 of 365

So first half naked photo shoot samples, my real photos are taken on a film camera these were light testers and pose practice. So good job Vince:)  Nude shoot next time:D gonna be interesting

I like this idea alot, but i still gotta figure out studio lights we kinda broke into the studio room, shhhhhhhh! 

Vince's idea to use water, turned out good when i boosted the contrast:) I didnt think it would work out but vince was right:P i looveee your freckles they look sooo awesome, gonna test out this some more

i tried getting really strong shadows and definition with the light, Vince has a tendency of going the opposite way of the light hahaha, we will work on that:P 

On the whole i like the practice shots cant wait to develop the film now:D should have them developed by thursday, then gonnna try to get some more shoots throughout the week.

So for our film project we are doing a love story, and this is probably gonna be part of the scene so we all have to draw 40 pages of like every frame we are gonna shoot...fun....not my favorite class so far

Exchange is now 9 months away, and i have to put my country selections in soon, so ive been think alot about where i want to go. theres so many to choose from, but i was thinking so far about Portugal, Greece, Italy, and Germany.

Day 22 of 365

Today was a good adventure! We got all this free time for photography. So we ended up leaving and taking the bus to Stefan's old school, crashed their art class and carved soap stone, met the god kid and Jan, and then brought back Tyler and Jan to our school and they crashed our class:P

So was a pretty ultimate day:) photography, exploring and making new friends, how could a day get any better?:D

So Stefan and Tyler are one, just separated because they are too powerful together? Now i should probably edit this picture to make them connecting and have like lightning happen between them? lol just what im told!

I love fall:)

So much colour and its just a comfy season, i thought the leaves on the ground showed alot of detail but its sort of unnoticed. When you really get down and look theres more then meets the eye the leaves are so pretty:)

Today boiled eggs and one cracked in the water and got this weird explosion, thought it was cool looking, and to me looks as if something is trying to get out.

Just Stefan being a creep today:). Glad to be back at school! missed 2 days this week and that sucked but back to the good times at school:)

Cute little weed smoking machine?

Wake up get ready for school go on facebook and add pictures of me sitting in a giant conopic jar that i had made in grade 9. Brian comments on it saying "awe Ainsley some cute little weed smoking machine". i go outside for a few minutes to get ready in the street and while i do that my mom creeps my facebook and sends me a text saying awe you got a cute comment come in and see. so i go in and see and im like oops.
then brian said good morning on chat.

well that was my odd dream, i wrote it half asleep. reading it later im like what the...but anyways i wrote this all edited since it was almost jibberish to everyone else. I thought it was funny and made me laugh later on and i creeped out the guy in my class by telling him i had a dream of him:P
More weird dreams to come! just have to get myself in the habbit of writing them as soon as i wake up!

Day 18 of 365

Spent my Monday missing school to be at the doctors. I missed my first day of the new term:( I HATE missing school, favorite place to be. But i will be tomorrow:) and i start film! cant wait!

So today I was home filling out all my information for my exchange, i wrote my letter to my host family, got my dentist examination filled out and alas my doctors examination completed. I had to get a needle for the examination and i was surprised that i didnt freak out too much or start crying, so pretty proud of myself :D so that was deffinatly my accomplishment of the day hah.

Day 17 of 365

I was amazed actually at the amount of detail i could capture in such low light situations! Normally i come out with a low pixel photo but i managed to work around with my camera and im quite glad at the outcome of detail!
I actually was playing around with my D40, going over it all since i haven't played around with it in a while. it all came back to me, its quite different compared to my D90.  I do like the options i get with having both, they both have their strengths and weaknesses. But since i am still figuring out my D90 i like to go back to my D40 and compare at times.

Day 16 of 365

Work all night today unfortunately. But we started a new program at work called the "We Care" program.  C-customers A-always R-receive E-excellence. Thats what it stands for, kinda lame. But the hardest working employee gets to go on a trip to toronto or something, and the nominated employee wins the grand prize which we haven't been told about yet, but it should be good.

Anyways, we have to wear these buttons at all times and always tell customers about it, if they ask. Haven't been asked yet. I dont believe anyone else has either. Oh wells im just gonna keep being the excellent worker that i am!:D

Had our last day of ceramics, so critiques, hot chocolate and fortune cookies! Sucks that im done ceramics really enjoyed that class, but im sure i like my new classes ( Film and Photography) as well:) cant wait!

So these are my fortunes? hmmmm well seek away everyone! I've got plenty of sound advice to give! Im like Dr.Phil:D

Dream

I saw Spencer in the car, we made a sad face :C to each other for a long time. Ainsley was in front of Mr. Dunno. She was driving. I was doing parkour over forest roots. I see a little girl then i come out see a mom and it was early morning like 7:38 AM then when i was going back i saw tons of scene kids and james at the Three Days Grace concert in the forest. After i went home but ended up in Milos's bedroom and Hollie was sleeping and Brian (Family Guys character (the dog)) was awake. I tried to wake her up but it took a while. All she did was say WTF then hugged me with sparkling eyes saying out babies would be beautiful. Then she got up on the bed and Brian rips her thong off through her shorts. Her thong is like leather and has wheels on it. We were browsing through magic cards.

This all makes me laugh because i tried doing this the next night straight when i woke up and i typed it out on my ipod, and it ended up quite odd. My theory is when you are retelling a dream after without writing it out,you edit it. You edit to a degree where it doesnt make complete sense, but to more pleasing sense in your mind. Well atleast in my case i think i take control over my dream at some point, and i believe everyone has the ability to as well.

Today in textiles we had our final art critique! So officially done textiles, i enjoyed the class not the teacher. She expected too much in too  little time but learned alot and saw some really cool pieces! 

I finished my boots finally, but they defiantly did not turn out at all like i planned them to. i am somewhat disappointed with them as well. they dont fit me and they look rushed and unfinished. hopefully i can refine them or since i know how to make them improve on another pair when i get some spare time!

Vince and Stefan preparing to start our little project of a "Growing a Beard  November"

The goal of this little project is to break down the process of growing a beard and make it into a photo movie, doing an individual photo a day ( unfortunately we will be missing the weekends) to  increase the speed and see a fast pace result of growing a beard in a few seconds.

Other ideas i am proposing on doing are

1. Growing a plant
2. Season changes
3. Personal growth
4. Shadow cast

"Growing a Plant": This would entail starting off most likely with a house plant. Planting a seed and doing a photo a day to watch its complete process. After completing this project maybe moving onto a larger project such as a tree outside. 

"Season Changes": Wold mostly just mean picking a spot to photograph every single day. Probably a tree? a building? landscape? Anyways picking something outside that is in the immediate weather.

"Personal Growth": This would just be a standard photo of doing the same persons photo everyday to see the change in face or body possibly? great idea would be to somehow do a pregnant belly growth:O hopegully can do that one day!

"Showdow Cast": this would most likely be taken every hour?every 30 mins or just some breakdown of time to see how the sun moves and changes the lighting

Anyways those were just few ideas ive had:)

ART ART ART, all night art.
Got a bunch done for tomorrow, and yet more tomorrow night, at least i can cross art history off my To Do List!

My theme is "being Naked is not socially accepted today"

so instead of having her calm and relaxed i want to make her attempting to cover herself and look uncomfortable. Thinking of maybe doing people looking at her or pointing? Maybe having eyes in the background staring, or maybe just have her under a simple spotlight with a simple black background to single her out?
