Some of the greatest costumes ever! Ariel had some awesome contacts and make-up for a zombie!
Had quite a great day at school today between the great costumes the potluck and birthday surprise Beal has yet to let me down!:)

My slab project "set of 3"

Today an all work purpose day. Got all my glazing and staining done so everything will be fired for next week cant wait to see the results of all my projects:D

Personally i did not like working with slab and prefer the wheel or coil i made these all in one class just cause i had to. everyone else seems to like them but not my favorite thing to do in ceramics. i wish i put more effort and thought into this project i know i could have produced something better. oh well i will give i another try soon.

October 27 2010 Day 6 of 365

Trial and error today mostly. Working in the dark without my tripod and without and other light source then what was around me. Quite a challenge to keep still long enough or get the subject too. I still need to work on my exposer and correct timing but i think im getting there.

Next feat after i prefect this style going to work on blurring motion and work with light drawing.

The Result

After about 3 hours of work finally we get together the mukluks. Now all i have to do is all the embroidering, felting and bead work!(Only another 10 hours work(Y))

Hopefully these giant boots end up in the year end show!
